It seems that it has become a trend by experiment with colorful liquids–I see them everywhere. The first set of photographs that caught my eye came from Kim Keever (while reading articles on the Flipboard app). To produce them, he drops tints of color into water and takes photographs while the liquids are mixing inside a 200-gallon fish tank. To me, there’s something intriguing and powerful about this particular artist’s work that I can’t find anywhere else. Would it be somehow related to the fact that he’s a former thermal engineer for NASA and its obviously knowledgeable in scientific and experimental projects? Not sure, but what I know for sure is that they’re THE BEST photographs of its kind.
